Rabbits For Sale
Please be sure to read our sales policy at the bottom of the page before inquiring.
Junior Sport bucks (males) - pet quality
Currently 9 weeks old, will be ready at 10 weeks after being fully weaned at least 2 weeks. These are littermate brothers. Due to their size and markings, I feel they are best suited to pet homes rather than breeding prospects. They are started on litter training. I handle them daily. |
Junior Mismark buck (male) - breeding prospect or pet
Currently 9 weeks old, will be ready at 10 weeks after being fully weaned at least 2 weeks. This little boy is cute and very sweet. His ears are a little long and he is not showable due to spots along his back. He can go as a pet or as a brood prospect. |
* A few junior does may be available after I evaluate and select my keepers. They would be breeding prospects or pets. I will not have anything showable available at this time.
Sales Policy
Thank you for your interest in a Dwarf Hotot from The Craig Farm. To ensure a smooth experience as well as the health and well-being of our animals, please review the following sales policy before inquiring. Your inquiry indicates you read and agree to the sales policy - even if you did not read it in its entirety.
General:
If you have read and agree to these terms and would like to purchase a Dwarf Hotot from The Craig Farm (or if you have questions), please contact me by email.
General:
- The Craig Farm is a closed rabbitry. To foster biosecurity, we do not allow visitors into our rabbitry.
- We breed for quality, temperament, and the overall health of our rabbits. Rabbits are sold as either pets or show/breeding prospects. While any of our bunnies would make an excellent pet, rabbits specifically marked as pets may be mismarked or have other features than make them unsuitable for breeding or the show ring. Breeding/brood prospects may not be showable but have attributes that could benefit a breeding program. Show prospects are correctly marked and are something I myself would put on the show table.
- We reserve the right to refuse a sale for any reason if we believe it is not in the best interest of the animal.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a rabbit. Until a deposit has been received, the rabbit remains available to others.
- I do not reserve rabbits before they are weaned at 8 weeks of age.
- Deposits are typically 50% of the purchase price of the rabbit.
- Once a deposit is received, the rabbit will be marked as "reserved" in your name and will be held until an agreed upon pick up date.
- Payment and deposit may be made via PayPal or in cash.
- Full payment is due prior to or at the time of pick up.
- No rabbit will leave The Craig Farm until payment is received.
- Because we operate a closed rabbitry, pick ups are arranged in a public location during daylight hours.
- Please bring an appropriate travel cage for your rabbit. Lack of appropriate cage will require rescheduling pick up. At times I have transport cages for sale at an additional cost, but please confirm availability with me BEFORE arriving at pick up.
- We will work together to choose a date and time to collect your rabbit. I will wait at the agreed location for no more than 30 minutes. If something comes up and you cannot make the agreed meet up time, let me know ASAP.
- If needed, we will reschedule once within 7 days of your original pick up date/time. If you are not able to pick up the rabbit within 7 days, a boarding fee of $5 per day will be added until you pick up the rabbit. If you cannot schedule a pick up and refuse the boarding fee, the rabbit will be re-listed for sale and your deposit forfeit.
- If you miss the scheduled pick up and I do not hear from you within 24 hours of the date and time, I will consider the rabbit no longer wanted. Your deposit will be forfeit and the rabbit re-listed for sale.
- I will transport rabbits to a show I am already planning to attend free of charge. At times, I may be able to offer transport outside of show season for a fee of $1 per mile.
- I will try to work with third party transporters, to be arranged by the buyer. Please confirm with me the location and timing of the transport before booking. Third party transporters are at buyer's expense and buyer assumes all risk.
- All rabbits are healthy at the time of sale. Once the rabbit leaves my care, I cannot guarantee health or behavior due to factors outside our control.
- All rabbits are interacted with every day from birth. No aggressive rabbits are ever knowingly sold. However, I do not guarantee what the rabbit's temperament will be like once it is in a new environment.
- Rabbits sold as breeding or show prospects will come with a pedigree bearing all information available to me. I cannot guarantee the rabbit's breeding or show performance.
- Rabbits purchased as pets, including those that may be showable, are sold without a pedigree and SHOULD NOT BE BRED.
- Buyers are encouraged to examine the rabbit at pick up and are welcome to bring someone for a second opinion. The buyer may choose to have the rabbit examined by a rabbit-savvy veterinarian at their own cost. The Craig Farm will not reimburse for veterinary expenses.
- All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.
- If you can no longer care for your rabbit purchased from The Craig Farm, I will take in the rabbit myself (with the exception of obviously sick rabbits) or assist you in finding a new home. No refunds are given.
- I offer lifelong support. If you have questions, even if you don't purchase a rabbit from me, please feel free to reach out.
- I am happy to mentor someone interested in showing or breeding, even if you don't purchase a rabbit from me.
If you have read and agree to these terms and would like to purchase a Dwarf Hotot from The Craig Farm (or if you have questions), please contact me by email.
