Poultry For Sale from The Craig Farm
The Craig Farm is located in northwest Georgia. At this time, we do not offer shipping through the USPS. We will deliver birds to poultry or rabbit shows we are planning to attend or can work with third party transport services.
Currently For Sale:
Light Sussex Pairs: Could put together two or possibly three pairs of our Light Sussex chickens. "Breeder" or "Layer" quality - the pullets are overmarked for exhibition but may produce better than themselves if given the chance. Should be excellent layers of brown eggs come spring. Hatched April 2025. Can meet locally or deliver to the Carpet City Bantam Club show on November 29th. Will not hold beyond that show. $150 per pair, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold until the show. Please note, I will not be transporting pairs to the show that aren't spoken for. No pullet will go without a cockerel.
Due to limited space, we hatch only the number of chicks and ducklings we plan to raise for our own needs. We monitor the growth of these young birds and choose ones to continue growing out. As we begin making these selections, extra juveniles or retired breeding stock may be offered for sale. Any availability is usually late autumn. Please note that any chicken hatched 2025 or after will be vaccinated for Marek's disease, no exception.
