The Craig Farm has a small flock of Coturnix Quail in north Georgia. Our goal is to breed beautiful quail that can serve as pets, egg layers, or table fowl.
We hatched eggs from Thieving Otter Farm to begin our own flock. We focus on the Pansy/Rotkopf variety with a few Silver/Schofield (SSC) quail too. These birds have good size, they are hardy, and lay a large egg. Thieving Otter Farm paved the way with gentle temperaments in these birds and we continue to select for even tempered quail. |

Eating Eggs For SaleWe normally have quail eggs available for purchase. These are unfertilized, unwashed, refrigerated eggs. I collect eggs daily from pens with no rooster. Free egg scissors with your first purchase of a dozen or more eggs. 6 pack sampler: $2 12 eggs: $4 18 eggs: $5 * It takes approximately 4 quail eggs to equal 1 large chicken egg.

Quail are a small dual purpose bird. They come in standard and jumbo sizes. They are reliable layers of small, speckled eggs. Quail develop quickly. The eggs hatch within about 18 days and the quail begin laying at 7-8 weeks of age. Extra males can be harvested at 8-10 weeks of age.

Live Quail For Sale
We are currently selling a group of 6 Cortunix Quail hens. Hatched in August 2025 and currently laying. $10 each or $50 if you take the whole group. I could find a male to send with them if desired. Local pick up only, no shipping.
